    Parent Engagement & Training Opportunities

At Hyde Park Schools, we believe that a strong partnership between home and school is essential for a child's success. We are committed to working with you to support your child's learning and to help you feel confident and involved in their education journey.

We offer a range of opportunities for parent engagement, from informal events to formal training sessions.

    Events & Workshops

We hold regular events and workshops designed to give you practical advice and insight into school life. These include:

    • Welcome Meetings: An opportunity to meet your child's new teacher and learn about the curriculum and expectations for the year.
    • Reading and Phonics Workshops: Practical sessions to help you support your child's reading and phonics development at home.
    • Online Safety Workshops: Expert-led sessions to help you keep your child safe in an increasingly digital world.
    • Curriculum Evenings: Overviews of what your child will be learning and how you can support them.
    Communication & Feedback

We maintain an open-door policy and encourage you to share your feedback. We use various channels to keep you informed:

    • Arbor App: Our primary platform for all communication, including messages, newsletters, and sign-ups for clubs and events.
    • Regular Newsletters: Our fortnightly newsletters celebrate achievements and provide important updates and dates.
    • Parent View: We encourage you to share your views on our school through Ofsted's Parent View website.

Your engagement and feedback are invaluable to us. By working together, we can ensure every pupil at Hyde Park Schools receives the best possible education.
